Friday mOOC Club

Description

Join LTI and colleagues from throughout TRU — and around the world — to participate in a medium-sized Open Online Course — a mOOC — to help enhance your digital skills offered through Trent University Online and eCampus Ontario.

In this Ontario Extend mOOC, participants can complete modules and earn up to six digital badges including:

  • Teacher
  • Technologist
  • Curator
  • Collaborator
  • Experimenter
  • Scholar

Participants who complete all six modules are eligible to earn a capstone Empowered Educator micro-credential. In our mOOC club, we will discuss topics from the modules, work on modules together, share artifacts created while completing modules, and explore how these artifacts and experiences can translate into practice using TRU courses and technologies. Every second afternoon from 12-1 from mid-May until late June — attend one session or attend all!

  • Friday, May 14
  • Friday, May 28
  • Friday, June 11
  • Friday, June 25

How to get started? Register for the mOOC using the online form. Let us know you’ve joined, and we’ll work through it together!
